Brand Leadership & Modernization

Overview

During my nearly three-year tenure as Creative Lead at GVBOT, I served as the organization’s brand guardian, leading a comprehensive visual modernization while ensuring brand consistency across all public-facing materials. My work spanned strategic brand development, digital and print design, and creative direction across major initiatives and events.

Key Contributions

  • Ensured design cohesion across all campaigns and communications while progressively updating GVBOT’s visual identity to reflect contemporary design standards — striking a balance between legacy and innovation.

  • Led the creative development of several key sub-brands and programs — from initial concept through to brand guidelines and final assets. This included:

    • Leaders of Tomorrow (20th Anniversary)

    • Scale-up Centre for SMEs

    • Rix Centre for Leadership

    • Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council (DLC)

    • Leadership Lab

    • Greater Vancouver’s Business Podcast (GVPOD)

    • GVBOTV (virtual event platform)

  • When the pandemic halted GVBOT’s in-person events — a key revenue and sponsorship stream — I worked directly with senior leadership to reimagine the entire event experience. I led the branding and design of GVBOT’s virtual event platform, collaborating with production partners to ensure every creative detail reflected the organization’s high standards and reputation.
