Brian Wu is a multidisciplinary Creative Director and Designer with over 13 years of experience spanning brand identity, graphic design, creative strategy, and full-scale production. His work blends strategic thinking with visual storytelling, shaped by hands-on leadership in both corporate and passion-driven projects.

Brian has led creative for high-impact events like Innovation Day 2024, Alida Activate 2025, and GVBOT’s Governors’ Gala & Rix Awards, overseeing everything from concept development to final production. His portfolio reflects a deep fluency in design systems, digital and print execution, video direction, animation, and cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with marketers, developers, producers, and campaign teams to drive results and engagement.

Whether crafting the visual identity of a major virtual conference or directing a cinematic short film exploring online culture, Brian brings a thoughtful, elevated aesthetic to every project. He is equally adept as a team leader and as a hands-on designer, with a sharp eye for detail, strong creative instincts, and a proven ability to deliver under pressure.

A graduate of Simon Fraser University in Business Administration (Marketing & Operations) and later the New Media Design and Web Development program at BCIT, Brian bridges business acumen with technical fluency. He is skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, web technologies (HTML, CSS), and has worked across CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, and HubSpot.

Beyond client and corporate work, Brian thrives on creative experimentation. His personal projects, including narrative short films and animation pieces, reflect his curiosity and deep respect for craft. In 2017, he founded a matcha brand, developing everything from the brand identity to the e-commerce platform, further demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and holistic design approach.
